Idk, I feel like ours is pretty strong. 8% crit during remorseless winter + we get to switch off of razorice engraving to hysteria/fallen crusader. It changes up the way we play and makes us stronger.
The “icicle” does pretty significant extra damage with the amount it procs and applies a stack of razorice to every enemy it hits. It’s pretty good

How many of these buff Frost DK threads are you gonna make?
They’re one of the best classes in the raid. Not being #1 doesnt mean you need a buff.
The frost DK set bonus is very, very good already.
their not the best when u can just bring 3 warlocks because frosts specialty is its aoe, were gonna become a dead spec again unless we buffs. just look at the dps rankings, we fell 6 spots to dh and enh shaman
There is literally no realistic scenario where Frost falls from #2 overall to bottom half. Sure they moved a couple places but they are within 2-3% of the specs they traded places with.
And until you’re bottom half, asking for buffs is just asinine.

have you not looked at the recent dps rankings? frost is nearing bottom of the middle pack, soon they’ll be like they were in sod and cn dead at the bottom
Frost right now is 5th overall on mythic and only 400 DPS behind the leader. They are 3rd overall on Heroic and only 100 dps behind the leader.
Are you really looking at the data?
Buddy, Frost DK’s 4pc is one of the best set bonuses in the entire game right now. It just isn’t Destro levels of good in AoE, but it’s comparable to Survival which is definitely the second-best 4pc bonus in the game behind Destro’s.
It’s one of the best specs in the game on Prototype Pantheon, Anduin, and Lords of Dread while remaining excellent on Lihuvim, Xy’mox, and Rygelon. Many of these are extremely relevant bosses.
There are specs that have the right to complain about how they fare in the raid right now, and DK as a whole is not one of them. Frost is a top spec on any cleave fights, Unholy is amazing on Halondrus and Jailer, and Blood is the undisputed best tank in the game right now in all content.

Prot Paladin and Brewmaster would like to have a word with you. Let’s not act like the current status of the Jailer weapon which is definitely going to get nerfed somehow being totally busted is really “Blood DK is undisputed”.
Just like how Edge of Night totally got nerfed partway into 9.1, right?
…oh, wait. It didn’t, it is comparable to 278 weapons even now, and is BiS with no equal as an offhand weapon even now.
Prot Paladin is not universally the best right now. It’s amazing, sure, but it doesn’t do as much damage and is a LOT worse against bosses like Rygelon and Jailer than Blood is. There are zero logged kills of Rygelon that used any tank spec besides Blood or Brewmaster.
You want Frost DK to go from 8th to first?
Also I would sacrifice any amount of critters and possibly gnomes (sorry) to get a bonus like that on my 4pce. If you keep it up they’re probably gonna nerf it

I will agree that going into 10.0 we will need significant buffs. Our 4-set raised us from pretty low tier to pretty good. If we don’t get buffs in 10.0 we are bottom of the barrel again.
