Is anyone else seeing what I’m seeing?
We only have two ways to apply reapers mark.
- Reapers Mark itself which we apply and at the end we get an exterminate which is are big burst ability.
- Painful Death choice talent in which it has a 30% chance to apply reapers mark and at the end of it we get our exterminates.
With them removing Painful Death/Swift End choice node that means NO MORE CHAIN EXTERMINATES.
Has anyone tested this, because this seems like a spec breaker. The chain exterminates is why we have the good cleave. This basically pushes back to where we were in DF the other passive damage that they gave us instead will not make up for the loss in burst.
this is worrisome. I haven’t tested this, but reading your comment makes it seem like they just killed the playability, fun, and dps of frost completely. I guess it is time to reroll to unholy for the upteenth time

- Painful Death’s effects are now baseline to Exterminate. Exterminate empowers 2 Obliterates/Marrowrends to summon the scythes baseline.
Painful Death got removed because it got baked in. Baseline 2 Exterminates and 30% reapplication.

They didn’t remove the choice node, they baselined everything from Painful Death.
You still have the exact same change to apply RM from Exterminate as you will on live, you just don’t have to spend a talent on it now; it’s just baselined into RM/Exterminate.
