Blizzard, you’ve done really good about coding frontal visuals and I want to commend you on that. But there are still some that could be added. Specifically Dread Captain Lockwood in Siege of Boralus. While the frontal (“clear the deck”) is always sent in the direction of the tank and can be dodged by anyone, there is no indication of how wide it really is. I’ve seen many unsuspecting players get gibbed on seemingly nothing.
If you could find it in your gaming hearts to add a visual to this frontal, many players would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading.
I want to say that Clear the Decks is a 360 attack. I always run out of it.
which would be VERY nice for them to actually show the frontal cone so there is no ambiguity. Please blizzard hear my prayer. (also nerf the dmg on Surgeon Stitchflesh in the necrotic wake). Amen
I swear there is a translucent 360 degree circle around her when she starts casting.
You may be thinking of a different boss? There is 0 visual for “clear the deck”
More than just the width, she’s a small boss and I’ve watched multiple dps lose track of where her front is, especially when I step aside for the mechanic. AraKara was changed to have big circles for the webfall on the end trash and last boss, a visual cone here would be good, imo.
Assume clear the deck is 270 degrees and the only safe spot is directly opposite the tank. It is not colored. But certainly felt that was its range in bfa and I assume it hasn’t changed.
