Out of curiosity, if PI was just a group wide buff that hit everyone including the priest and was balanced to accommodate that, would people still hate it?
Being a PI target is especially miserable if you’re playing something with really specific timings.
Last tier when Demo was head and shoulders above everything else (PI wise) I’d get it, but like 90% of the time Priests just send it on cooldown so I’d get it while I have no cooldowns up when I’m doing like tank level sustained damage lmao.
Yeah, I think it wouldn’t hurt if Bloodlust was available to more classes.

I haven’t been asked for a soothe in ages. It’s very niche. Many classes have purge.

Still is a very powerful spell. People often bring 2 priest on Fyrakk just for MD and in m+ it also has massive utility.

As priest we already pay the price for daring to have PI; no interrupt, no real defensive button, no Brez
Removing PI for those basic healer tools would help healing priests way the hell more than what we have right now. Shadow needs it baked in their personal CD, no more external.

What you say here is misleading; PI isn’t liked not because of it’s power but because of the negative side effect of that power.
Aug is a different beast; see, priests were never built as support specs, they were just slapped with a support ability that costed them utility they would otherwise have by now, on parity with other healers. Being target of PI is also a nerf able offense.
Aug were built from the ground up as support, redgardless if you like or dislike it, it would not be for the same reasons as with PI.
Not at all; people dislike Power Infusion because of its power, which brings in said negative side effects.
