What the heck is with the restrictions on the frog mount? It is saying i am to low level (level 58), and the tool tip says nothing more than Apprentice Riding is the ONLY requirement! What is up with this BS? I mean, ran my behind to the place, while 15 people waited, never been there yet, and i can not use it? This is pure BS!
I mean im not one to complain, but this just seems so out of bounds!
THAT is extremely sad, and totally not necessary! I mean, you are in the zone, allowed to be there according to the campaign progress, and you kill the rare and then can not use it? This expansion should still be in BETA if you want MHO!
I mean … that really is pretty silly, to require level cap to ride a mount when we can ride (almost) every other mount as soon as we have the requisite riding training. What a strange choice on Blizz’s part.
Anyone remember killing rares and running dungeons out of level range and getting loot that you couldn’t use because you weren’t of proper level? I remember.
Sure, but there’s a precedent for not being able to use certain gear until you meet the level requirement. I can’t really think of any ground-only mounts that have a level requirement to them these days?
It is because of the sheer raw power that the frog contains. Anyone less than max level would literally explode into a bloody mess if they even straddled the mighty beast.
It is one of those things that sucks, but also at least it is easily remedied. Once you are in Ardenweald chances are you are level 57-58 anyway, so that it a matter of hours before hitting 60 and then it is boing-boing for days, baby!
it’s not a big deal. just leave it in your bags until you level up.
I don’t really believe you
it will be ok. I promise.
yep! it is 100% nonsensical. there’s no reason the mount needs to be restricted. but it’s also not worth getting all upset about. just put it in your bags until 60 and learn it.
idk. guy is either trolling or just looking for reasons to be mad. it’s not a big deal.
No, it’s not. I’m not upset about it or anything haha. I do agree that it’s strange / seemingly without precedent though, unless I’m forgetting some other mount in the game. It’s in my nature to question the logic behind decisions like that.
