What do I do, my mates I planned to smash out mythic +’s with decided to roll alliance and I’m not going alliance because horde races are just cooler. Do I bite the bullet and change or do I stick horde and find new fellas.

Just roll a panda and say you’re a Horde spy
You can grind out gold to buy a boost for an alliance alt, lvl one yourself, or change your character. I would just lvl an alt, but you could buy the boost (with tokens) or gold or money or do it the old fashioned way.

Level a nelf… tank… smeld on boss pull…

Well, you already have a level 50 human mage… so unless you hate your friends, you’re a good chunk of the way there to playing with them.
Just spend some time on both sides so you can keep your horde main. But for real life friends, yeah.

I had that happen in WotLK and had to go horde to play with my friends (and then I did it back to them in Legion and made them go alliance!). No regrets, honestly. I’d much rather play the game with my friends than play alone.

Played as Alliance my first 11 years on an old account, been Horde since 2016 on this account, used my leveling boosts that came with expansions to at least have some Alliance alts ready to go as a few of my friends are still Alliance.
There’s no rule saying you have to have one or the other.

Well, ask yourself this:
Is a faction in a game more important than hanging out with your friends?
Is something cosmetic more important than playing with your friends? Are you seriously considering shrugging off your friends just because of your distaste for the Alliance?
