The other day I played battleground blitz and someone told me to uninstall the game. Well I did just that and to my surprise it fixed my UI problem after I reinstalled. I then whispered that player to thank them but they called me a idiot and put me on ignore. I must have been a real jerk to make that helpful person so angry
I met one the other day and I was like, “you can go straight to hell, Mr. friendly.”
and he was all like, “Thanks, I’ll consider that. I appreciate the tip!”
and then I was all like, “drat”
The best thing i ever did in WoW was shut out the wider community, i stay out of general/trade and only really interact with friends+guildies. It’s just too much of a cesspool out there.
Not at all, Mr Hismother, he was merely extremely shy and humble so when you messaged him it was something that was outside of his comfort zone and acted out of sheer panic. Dont take it personally, he didnt mean to offend you
I met one, then I realized they were imaginary.
Sometimes I RP as friendly then I steal your stuff and change my name.
Now we got toxic unfriendly friendliness? What is WoW coming too?
On the bright side, at least they didn’t ask to add you on bnet and then the 2 of you literally never spoke again?
There are nice ones out there, they’re just smart to keep to themselves. It’s a shame because some of the best interactions never happen because situations like this make people close off. Be nice! (Unless you’re killing stuff THEN LET THERE BE NPC AND PLAYER CORPSES AT UR FEET… or hooves…)
You’re lucky that we can’t communicate with Alliance players in-game because I would show you how friendly I’m while devouring your flesh.
Hey, were you the guy who stole my girlfriend and then changed your name? She said she met someone ‘friendly’ and then poof, gone. I’ve been looking for her AND my loot ever since. Just trying to confirm if this is your side hustle or if I need to file a ticket with Blizzard support.
Then you have to get on an Alt and say:
“Excuse me sir, you called me a idiot, but you meant to call me an idiot.”
I play to escape reality and part of that is not engaging in wow conversations. What I have noticed back in vanilla questing most players would give you a buff in passing. Today its very rare.
I think that may be sumwun elz.
Jokes on you I have a voraphilia fetish
When on a class that can buff I still like to do that. Specially if we are sitting around waiting on something to start etc. Guess it’s wired in from my old days of playing EQ and people would afk in one spot and come back with lots of buffs. lol
I do that still when I can.
Sometimes people even thank me or give me a buff in return.
Kids these days, don’t teach manners anymore.
