I am just getting the buff, buying an extra buff hat, then doing all the world quests. Popping my hat before turning in the weekly.
Saves you a little rep farming later.

Similar to how I check my vault first, then the “claim reward from great vault” quest comes up after I already looted.

Yep! And the Darkmoon Faire carousel (once you ride it and it ticks until the 60 minute mark to give you the 60 minute buff), also gives you an XP buff so if you’re levelling any alts, now is the time to do it!
Go out and get your Darkmoon Faire buffs from the carousel and remember, it gives a rep buff for ALL reps in WoW, not just Shadowlands ones.

I think there is a weak aura you can setup for Darkmoon weeks if you want. It does a little text animation to remind you to get the buff.

I’m using this. Also reminded me to grab the “owo munchie wunchies” weakaura for food buffs.

Man, I ALWAYS forget to get the DM buff when doing things that have rep. Hopefully I’ll remember to go there today before doing ZM stuff. I’ll probably forget, or worse, feel too lazy to leave ZM, go to Oribos, ride the mount to the portal, walk out of the mage tower, fly over to the DM lady, teleport to the DM portal, run down to the faire, ride the carousel or worse, spend time playing games to get enough tickets for a hat or two, then ride the carousel, then hearth back to ardenweald, then take the portal to Oribos, then ride over to the ZM portal THEN do the quests…so much work, lol.
Pretty much. Not worth the hassle for a little extra rep. I’m not in a rush to get exalted anyway.

Yeah and you can just buy the hats if you’re too lazy to go back. Easy to buy with the drops from darkmoon book giving you tickets.

How to get them is explained above, but beware that you need to USE them before the Faire is over or they vanish from your inventory.
The only thing I care about at the Darkmoon Faire are the fish heads. Why 24hour duration, why?!?!
