Since people are hitting Exalted today reliably now:
Every single time, the re-useable augment rune becomes unuseable at the max level of the next expansion. And every time, the forums rage because it “wasn’t advertised” and they “wasted their money.”
Be prepared for the augment rune to stop working at level 70 or whatever the next cap is.
Edit: Since people won’t read replies, things like the MoP/WoD reusable items are flasks, not runes. Same with the legion broken shore item. The only reusable runes are from army of the light and rajani and are not usable at max level.

We know this patch has 12 to 14 months left in its run time so the investment is probably plenty solid still. At least as long as you’re playing from now until then and do progression content.

How long will it take to hit exalted if I don’t do any rep content other than the rep u get from killing bosses in the raid?
Reusable rune seems like a really bad deal. 50k for 1 rune per hour, seems almost impossible to make that pay for itself.

I think I got like 800 rep this week from the raid, so an entire year lol.
If you do zero content maybe but as a mythic raider this rune is going to pay for itself very quickly.

It’s 40k at Exalted.
Augment Runes are ~100g, so it’s essentially 400 Augment Runes. Most raiders will go through that many before 9.2 ends.

You gotta look at it as a big picture
You can now use augment runes for any content you do, cuz I doubt you were popping a rune while doing quests or whenever you fell to your death
It’ll pay for itself pretty quickly

I’m going to buy it, just because then I can throw it on the bar and it becomes a “meh, might as well” button to use in really any content.

I’m using my old Fel Focuser thingy from Legion still. Is this not the same type of thing? I can’t use it with a flask. Can the rune be used with a flask?
