Friend wants to start the Suramar questline but it isn’t at the mission table. He is level 45 and has completed uniting the Isles. Is there something else he needs to do?

Did he start the quest in violet citadel? I remember going there.
To start suramar you have to go talk to khadgar and do that little scenario.

Have them check their quest log. They probably have an unfinished quest they don’t realize is part of the questline.
(Edit: As noted above you may have to talk to someone to get it started)
Do you remember the name of the quest by chance?
I’m not 100% sure since I can’t remember too well without hoop-jumping.
But if your friend can’t see the link above, then (for me) he has to go Chromie Time and pick Legion, Khadgar should be there for the quest. I’m new so I never did Legion. Just a heads up if he didn’t.
So I don’t have the option to talk to him. what should I do then I don’t have the achievement or the quest line
He should have 2 quests. 1 is a message another is one that ports you to suramar and you have to do an escort like quest.
The Suramar questline doesn’t start at the mission table, that is the quest to obtain the Red Fox mount. To begin the Suramar questline, he should have received a summons from Khadgar to come to Dalaran. If he has not gotten the summons, he can try just going there & talking to Khadgar in the Violet Citadel. Khadgar will show him a little message or something (it’s been a while, but I seem to recall thinking that it was like the message from Princess Leah in Star Wars lol) & then give him an item to summon visions of the past & allow him to follow Thalyssra & start the quests.
