You’re probably around my age then. I really, really liked “Shadow Raiders”, which came on shortly after Beasties usually. Also, I didn’t mind Beast Machines at all. Kids shows were so much better written back then.
Even now, some episodes of Beasties (like the one with the child-like Transmutate who sacrifices himself to stop the conflict between opponents for the day) are actually kind of moving.
I see kids shows now… and I hope my daughter gravitates towards my Batman Beyond DVDs.
My original nickname in all the games I played was Xanatos from that series.

Woot! I was a computer programmer and I loved reboot and all the puns, wordplay and innuendo.
Ngl I remember seeing a clip of Darkwing Duck in a tv show within the tv show of that Ducktales reboot and getting a childlike giddiness at Jim’s voice.
Some of the bad guys were in this intro too and I thiiiiiiiiiiink a few of them were returning VAs as well. I think some of them passed away however and had to get soundalikes. Unless I am totally remembering it wrong. I know DW shows up in Ducktales afterwards but I just mean that one scene where one of the kids is watching the show I think with Launchpad.
I watched this everyday after class in middle school. It came on about 3 pm. I used to have either some jolly ranchers or fireball candy while I watched.
I actually learned a decent amount of lingo thanks to Mainframe.
