Fresh Windows install, but wow folder on different drive

So after a short stop at the repair shop, my system should be good as new. I’m ready to jump back into the game, but am I really ready? The wow folder was untouched because it’s sitting on a different drive. Do I still need to reinstall the game to be safe?

Also, how do I get my launcher back?

Update : I’m in the game, sweet. The only downside to all this is that I’m now stuck with NVIDIA’s latest driver.

You can look on their site for older drivers, I downloaded one for before this light show that always is going on in wow now. Just have to install it.

I’ll keep that in mind for sure. But to be honest it’s not so bad as it was at first. I’m surprised because the first week this started happening it was insane. But I’ve only been playing an hour or so, maybe I have been lucky.

If I remember correctly, the best drivers are pre 460s. But I’ll hold before going back for now.

456.71 has been good for me on a 1080ti

Use DDU to uninstall your current GPU driver then install your preferred driver.
