These need to happen eventually, one way or the other. SoD was a poor attempt at Vanilla+, hardcore servers do not make sense regarding the design philosophy of Vanilla and Cataclysm Classic is a contradiction of the ClassicTM R C concept. The shareholders and investors of activision-blizzard and microsoft should seriously consider the prospect of Vanilla fresh servers. The developers would probably enjoy this venture, but its the stockholders of the company that make the decisions so this post is for the golden geese on top of the company. Please release Vanilla fresh. Let it recycle every two years to give people the opportunity to experience the best iteration of this game for years to come.

Recycle yes, but with Era servers for us to KEEP forever our old toons on.

I just add this every time, because I’m afraid the Dev team else grab the idea of wiping the servers every 2 years with no “hall of fame” or home for the slow

Agree SOD is a bust. For classic + I was hoping for adding another raid past Naxx (Kara as a 40 man level 60 raid with T3.5 gear would be awesome). Get rid of world buffs they’re so annoying or a least get rid of chronoboons (if we’re going to have to get world buffs at least we can enjoy the screams when someone loses them on trash “muh buffs!” We didn’t ask for much instead we got bloody SOD.
