I returned after about half a year, about to ding my hunter, so what are the things I need to do on my hunter? Gear, covenants, leggo, etc
I am kind of completely lost and just want a clear picture about how many anti-depressants I need to take

Make craven leggo probably your first priority.

buy level 40 cov boost
grab pvp quests + korthia quest for trinket
queue korracks revenge
try mw korthia for trinket (hang around your faction while in queue)
get base honor gear
run torment 9 torgast for currency
Unlock & craft Lego
google “wow rift farm” and do “wow rift farm” for conduits
grind 2s as bm with a healer. Don’t spend conq till 1400 + buy the 375 conq tokens for half your gear set and hope you don’t get too many doubles
target missed conq pieces
Is Korraks good for honor? I thought it just gave those blue badgey thing

You need rank 4 of archivist to even do rift farms. I’m at rank 3 atm but it honestly takes like a week of daily korthia farms to even get to 4. Unless there’s a faster method I’m unaware of since I’m just looking for treasures/rares.
That account-wide thing requires rank 6 to purchase…which weekly are you referring to?

Torghast spam for renown + conduits + lege stuff.
Figure out your best lege and farm for that till you got it.
Hate yourself by gearing.
Once geared honour farm & farm CR so you can upgrade said gear.

best covenant for hunters overall and bm specifically?
I tried getting from tier 1 to 2 in hopes that it wouldn’t take that long. Farmed rares and collected treasures since the past 2 days and only halfway to 2. Feels like at this rate, its going to take me atleast a week to hit tier 3.
Venthyr for covenant for BM pvp.
Kyrian is second best for pve and pvp both. Very solid choice if you want to try marksman.
Night Fae is best for most pve content, but Kyrian is very close in pve as well.
Necrolord is still viable, but not really as good as the others in any content.
I’ve been 2400+ in 2s with all covenants…BM hunter is a lot like arms warrior in that regard. You can probably make it work with any covenant currently. It’s just busted.
Next patch with 2 legendaries active (covenant leggo + FD leggo) then Venthyr will pull even farther ahead with the AOE bleed from flayed shot.
It’s going to be beyond broken and will probably get nerfed early. I expect Kyrian will remain un-touched and very viable option in all content.
