Would be great to run a fresh vanilla server on tbc pre patch. Honor point system and tbc talents would make pvp a lot more fun and casual. r14 set in 1 weekend would be fun… Shadow step, unstable affliction, felguard, water elemental, dragons breath, force of nature, tree of life, mangle, earth shield, beast within, reflective shield, vampiric touch … Miss these talents… But I don’t miss TBC enough to ask for another failed server attempt. Would rather just see blizzard try a vanilla server on tbc prepatch

Arena Skirmishes were pretty fun in prepatch.
I asked this in another thread, and I am genuinely curious as to what people are looking for when they say they want fresh. Don’t get me wrong, I get the general appeal, and have always enjoyed the new shiny experience. Classic 2019 launch was amazing. Fresh Wrath Prepatch servers (I went to Skyfury) was on par with the best WoW experiences I’ve had, so I’m not saying I don’t get it. I’m just curious:

The runes added would seem to give you that additional talent/ability boost you voiced support for. Certainly ask for what you seek for the next seasonal. Seems like the appropriate place for it.
Might see it sooner there rather than pine for this hyperspecific niche.

They want whatever gives them an edge over others. As in, when people start raiding ahead of them, they start asking for fresh again.
Would be better than SoD.
Would be worse than Era.
dont try and correlate tbc talent trees to sod runes lol. That’s like comparing ribeye to canned tuna
