Fresh TBC is the true path

Excuse me, Sir.

Do you have a moment to talk about the one true path?

No I’m not talking about God, I’m talking about the one true path to The Burning Crusade.

What? No, I promise we aren’t a cult. Sir? Sir?! I SAID WE ARENT A CULT!

All these players scared of the fresh TBC. Leveling was made easier in TBC. AND you get to play with everyone leveling up. It’s the best time to play in WoW leveling up with everyone at the same time.

Agreed. Having the option for both would be ideal but if it’s one or the other, fresh is the superior choice.

Novel idea - why not offer both?

no arguments why, just “do things my way or i quit” lol. Fresh servers would demolish entire communities and cause the entire alliance faction to end up on horde, private servers did fresh tbc and they offered like 1million incentives to play alliance and still the majority chose horde, after what classic has been there will be almost no alliance on pvp servers

Fresh TBC and 90% of playerbase is belfs. Carry over TBC and the economy is ruined day 1. it will be crap regardless

Progression is the whole point of MMO’s, only people that accomplished nothing in classic want fresh.

PServers do Fresh only and they start dying before they are even halfway through content because there is no attachment. Retail did progression and was extremely successful.

No Progression, No Play. Unsubbing all 5 accounts.

Make 1 Vanilla “museum” server for these guys to transfer their toons to.

Fresh is a meme. Gold farming is pathetically easy in tbc, so if you think people won’t be gold capped asap then you’re severely deluded

Fresh only delays that by a month or two then we’re back to how the economy was

100 percent this, only people who wipe on rag still want fresh

plenty of people want fresh servers, classic was promise no change right? so no change, no progress beyond naxx so if you want anything beyond vanilla you start fresh or hop on retail.

No changes is progressing into tbc while keeping your character

“True path” for people who arrived super late or wasted too much time on alts or running BRD and one day woke up 6 months behind everyone else.
Those with nothing to lose are in favor of taking everything away from everyone else.

LMFAO, this coming from some1 that plays classic is just funny; I remember no change posted everywhere before classic came out. now you guys want progression? the whole point of classic is so that it doesnt progress beyond naxx, so everything done on classic should stay on classic.

Just in case you aren’t aware, blizzard have already called it Classic TBC in the survey. I don’t think you understand what “Classic” actually means.

Incorrect, that was just a very loud obnoxious minority screaming “reeeee #nochanges!” just as it is now with “reeeeee fresh servers or you lose my sub!”

Its very likely it will be a hybrid of those two solutions … free xfers for 3x toons from Frozen Classic servers to TBC servers w/ normal xfer gold caps applied … this means max anyone could bring over is 6k per account … and 5k of that is going to be dumped on an epic flyer right away anyway.

Considering most people have ~2k from leveling from 60-70 anyway … 1k per account is not going to be “Gamebreaking”

What do you mean “true path”?

The true path you speak of would be for servers to roll into TBC, you know, how it actually was and still is for WoW.

People that want a “fresh start” for TBC are people that think that it’s for the betterment of the game’s economy. Stopping botters and hoarders from swarming the AH with materials, making those items either very expensive or making the market for that item crash.

Botters and gold sellers won’t be stopped by doing this.
People that have ten’s of thousands of gold will get that gold back whether that’s from buying gold or from another way they will 100% get that gold back.
All this will be is a small bump in the road, nothing more, nothing less.

TBC will have fresh servers that is certain, and the people that want to have their fresh start can go to those servers that open. But for me and I’m going to assume the majority of people, those people will either copy their characters over, or, the servers themselves will go to pre-patch and then to whatever patch it goes to after.

I understand why people want to start TBC at level 1.
I understand why people want to start TBC at level 58.
I disagree completely with it, and i think I’m in the majority in this.
