I mean it looks like classic era servers are booming. On my cluster there’s tons of new people leveling. If it weren’t for the 60s you see in town it would feel like launch again. I’d definitely hop on a vanilla fresh for sure.

Era servers are indeed enjoying a very modest boom (and I’m dabbling on one) and we could get into the merits of fresh vs era but regardless of the direction and outcome of that conversation, fresh classic servers, specifically, are what a sizable population wants. It would be lovely if we were provided an indication of if and when that will happen.

I have been enjoying era on and off for a while and the last 3-4 months have been the biggest boom of players the servers have seen since they moved on to TBC.
That being said you a talking about hundreds not thousands when it comes the amount of people. You might be in a leveling guild and see 80 people online thinking wow thats a lot for 1 guild! Then come to realize its only one of like 2 guilds lol.
It’s great, but no where close to what classic launch was like, or even SOM for that matter.
We need fresh.

To be honest on the two East Coast PvP server clusters, most of the NEW players seem to be Bots. Mages on their way to Zul’Farrack and Hunters on their way to Dire Maul, nothing new on the AH and no communication on chat channels that I am aware of. Not even, “Hey Thanks for the BUFF or HEAL”. It is kind of a bummer, like the return of the Black Lotus Mafia on Thalnos pre-TBC.
There must be big demand for GOLD and services on the Whitemane cluster for a dozen or so bot farmers to appear out of nowhere, it’s only a matter of time before the dead servers are overrun.
