Feel free to look up original server pops. And while you are at it the pops of those other servers blizzard doesn’t like competing with.

they have several WoW classic servers that are completely dead up, they could merge those & re-use them
They just don’t care about our region, it’s not a matter of them not being able to do it, they just don’t care to. They know plenty of people are big enough losers to pay for an overpriced sub (playing offshore) & that they won’t have the guts to refuse to sub
Everyone wanting a fresh Oce server should just refuse to sub at all.
$20*12= $240 a year for one person, *5000 = $1,200,000
I bet there are more than 5000 that would have wanted to play on a fresh server
The amount of players coming to these forums are miniscule, very very miniscule.
When they announced fresh servers, told myself already ill play if we get an OCE server but if not it aint worth the lag… I am not in Australia, actually SE asia so the ping might be worse for me to US servers compared to Australia… Last I remember its around 300 ping. Also a lot of people play OCE servers all around SE asia not just Australia.

Personally i play on US servers never seen a huge issue with lag and i only play US servers for PVP as the OCE region was taking over 2 hours for a BG. Can anyone confirm if that is still the same? i would come back to OCE with a few other players if the PVP situation has changed.
