Fresh Level 60 - still on ShadowLands, trying to skip to Zerith Mortis?

Returning player,

Havn’t bought DF

There are some posts online about alts reaching 60, then skipping straight to Zerith Mortis (so I can get gear that my main earned on tokens).

They say talk to Tal Inara but there is nothing he says for a skip, nor Bolvar, I just hit 60 a few minutes ago, Zerith Mortis portal is not there. I don’t want to have to do all the SL zone quests to have to get a Covenant, or Korthia either… am I missing something? Do you have to finish all the zone stories and choose a covenant…cuz that kind of sucks. I’m only just started the first quest in Ardenweld.

My main finished 100% of Zerith Mortis Last year, so that unlock should be good.

Okay, I just figured out my main can buy 226 Gear Token and then mail it to the alt. It’s account bound. I’m good now.

Okay just figured it out the main thing, you have to talk to the Threads of Fate NPC on the East part of Oribos and then he makes you choose Threads of Fate or Replay Story … you have to Threads of Fate choose, then he sends you to Tal Inara. Tal Inara makes you pick a covenant, once chosen, he tells you you can skip cause you met Pocopoc

Thanks for reporting back on your findings because that is a change/fix (in fact I was about to answer your original question with what is now a wrong answer). For the last few weeks Tal Inara was not offering the ZM skip even to eligible characters but I can confirm it is being offered again! Good news.
