Title says it all. What’s the point of starting on a new server if there isn’t anything new to look forward to on it? Progressive patches is the right start but there should be TBC/WotLK HC.

TBC and wrath are never gonna be HC, as they would require too much redesign to make work

If you really think that is the point of HC, you’ve got a really odd take. In fact, that explains why you don’t understand the desire for TBC.
HC is about the challenge, about being able to do something that the game wasn’t designed for. So, TBC is a perfect next step, because I hate to tell you… Classic HC has been defeated.

The point of going to TBC is to stop there, not progress, none of the servers should go to WOTLK,.
Blizzard, add TBC progression to the fresh HC server. Don’t overthink it. HC = 1 death. Add code that if you die you can’t get resurrected. Leave everything else the same. Even if you can come up with “reasons” to not do it, just do it and let us players decide if it works or not. You took the “uncharted territory” approach with SoD, right? How bad can it be in HC TBC?5
