This is why if Anniversary edition gets Era it must remain land locked on its own servers with ZERO option to transfer.
Allowing transfers only ruins other servers fully because all the RMT and Bots will infest.
They are welcome in the BG’s with us long as they dont cry about winning.
IMO delete their ability to report any activities or chat in BG’s since they are incapable of anything but “Muh honor per hour bro!”

i think a lot of this has to do with vanilla being a very consumable dominant endgame combined with the completely cooked anniversary min/max mindset/community

On one hand, the TBC Battle/Guardian Elixir change makes raid buffing much easier for all players.
On the other hand, when World Buffs are removed, limiting players to effectively (1) +STAT potion and (1) +STAT scroll is kinda boring.
I mean the whole server is willing to buy gold so I don’t think much changes.
