I’m not sure how anyone else feels, and if you are having a good time more power to you.
For me, I just hit 45, and I don’t know if I can keep going. It just feels so…irrelevant. Like, we just did this. We know what classes are going to perform the best each tier, what classes chat will be spamming for, and what classes are going to be spamming chat because they are oversaturated. We know that Rogue/Mage blanket silence DRs are going to ruin TBC Arena and that Sl/Sl Lock and War 2s Matchups are going to be so boring.
We don’t know what’s going to happen. Are we just going to go into TBC and then get another reset. If so, my characters are just now lost in this weird Era, SoD, Fresh, Cata, Retail fractured void where progress now feels more pointless than it ever has.
Idk. I just felt like ranting.

Vanilla sucks after FRESH hype goes away. Just play something else until a version of Classic you want to play pops up again

you know what i hate? SoD, and all its ridiculous changes. the moment I saw “runes”, I was out. the whole time of SoD I didn’t have a WoW game to play, besides hardcore, which was okay but pretty lonely.
now is the time for people who love vanilla. and there are MANY of these people. i’m sorry you think it’s “irrelevant”. but it’s not. it’s actually quite relevant in the video game scene. a 20 year old game that is still this popular is crazy. it has aged phenomenally well. i think it deserves some respect

i agree that is terrible but luckily we have guilds where we can congregate with like-minded players and mostly avoid the cringe

I’ve been having a way better time this time around than in 2019. Buff/debuff cap limits have definitely contributed to that.

The moment it got out to the wider playerbase that warrior was leagues above the other classes for DPS it was over. Sucks as someone who genuinely enjoys the class for reasons beyond muh DPS graph.

90% of warrior in this fresh “tank” in battle stance and dont have taunt (or defensive stance for that matter) on their bars.
its some of the most pathetic stuff I’ve ever seen. I gotta hold back like crazy on my 43 lock because these DPS chasing spergs are complete trash and immune to feedback

thats part of it, but cant deny that literally every other class has nothing to it. with warrior it actually feels like ur playing a game.
edit: meaning other classes are boring
They literally only rolled warrior to raidlog at 60. Most of them won’t do half the damage of a decent rogue/mage either.

this is my first time playing lock after loving warrior, druid, paladin since 2004. Warlock is simply put… incredible…
taunt deals no damage, why waste a key binding for that, bro?
as someone who has always loved hybrids I’ve been trained to just do whatever the group needs at the time. It’s why I hate these tunnel vision warriors who will just ignore an add on a healer because MAH PARSES!

what’s so ridiculous is that they are parsing 5 man dungeons that’s new. people didn’t used to be so vain.
Trust me, healing is not boring right now with these new warriors that pull everything then keep pounding one mob while the rest are swarming everyone else.

I do not understand all this whining about warriors. I did lot of dungeons this fresh, and 90% of warriors were respectful, mature, did great dps and even off tanked when I was poly. I’ve seen some snowflakes ofc, but very few.
