Correct, I don’t care about the perma-state game where a server is on the final patch and stays that way forever. Classic launch day through Sunwell Plateau is the portion of the game that I enjoy, it’s downhill from there in my opinion. In the unlikely event that they decide to do something like that, even a “seasonal” one that is where I will be.
A fully progressed, fully unlocked game on the final patch is not a true “vanilla” experience in several respects. It is fine for dinking around and enjoying the best version of the game of course.
