They can do some changes with out much programming. If a lite touch is used it is possible to relaunch an improved but not destroyed Classic Fresh Start… With everyone having equal footing a server can grow organically.

In EU its fine, they have connected the PVE and PVP realms into 2 larger groups, just RP is separated. The RP realm does have a few guilds, the people even raid there and I personally dont mind the smaller community there.
The PVE and PVP realms that are connected, have a working community, surely not as big as before, but enough for raiding and pvp. The only thing I noticed is that low level pvp is often not happening, as there are just not enough people during early / very late hours.
My best advice are reroll projects, if they happen in the US. They tend to bring people together, but it can be difficult because of the trading with people outside of these projects. Quite often, the AH is super expensive with people ruling certain trade products and they will always outbid you or buy your stuff and sell it for much more.
This is truly a big downside of rerolling and of course BG´s, as they nullify world pvp, which however, is also dead because of the horde / ally ratio.
Sadly, this wont change on a fresh realm, unless changes are made and I seriously doubt that Blizzard will do these changes.
I am somehow quite confident that they will connect all classic era realms despite realm type or population, maybe even a big merge to 1 PVE, PVP, RP per region and then just tell those who are upset, that they could just play on the new realm, if they don’t want this.
I just dont see them investing time and hours into a classic + system, with significant changes. Too many people want to many different things I am afraid.
The purpose of fresh is to start from 1. Doubtful they will offer transfers, doubtful they will be attached to Era.
Especially in light of what is going on regarding company shifts and leadership. If players want a classic + they could go to Tur tle wow. They do their own thing.
I think that there was an opportunity to try a Classic + before they launched into TBC but current Blizzard is NOT what 2004 Blizzard was. Current Blizzard is Activision and ‘Retail’ and nobody wants that.
The best we can hope for is a Fresh with minimal (or no) changes and for players who paid to clone get a chance to merge in eventually. Ideally just before Naxx

When I see this post and heard about the whole classic fresh thing I’ll be honest there’s one word that comes to my mind desperation I don’t know about the rest of you but I aint touching it.
Is unless there’s a lot of changes I have no desire to replay classic again quite frankly I’m happy we’re done with it.
Yes it’s a good game but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t problems with it that were not addressed at all and I can’t see blizzard wantis the blizzard wanting to address them.
There’s problems with every game. One being a leveling boost to 58. One being able to buy gold. One being bots not managed.
Yeah you are right But let’s be real here blizzard hasn’t fixed that in 16 years I doubt just because they’re putting on classic fresh that’s something they’ll actually be able to manage because that would involve them hiring people.

Learned from what? People still play and a lot bought the mount. If anything they learned it’s a good thing. I expect to see the same with LK classic, mount and all.
A clean slate. No economy. Starting from phase 1 again, not after phase 6. That’s the appeal. EVERYBODY is on a level playing field again.
I think Classic+ is better than fresh vanilla. You are basically asking for mage bots to swarm into that fresh server again and everyone will just pay for boost by paying gold again.

Yeah they would. But they know they can’t. Because the exploiting that system was already there. Just that people didn’t do this attempt as much back in '05-'09
Can they 100% block bots? No probably not. However what we’re asking for is STAFF to work on the issue. People should be able to report bots, and then staff should review and check out the character closer. If botting… ban.
