Just got 60 and plan on tanking as rogue, what should I be grabbing in terms of gear to start tanking raids?
you do like everybody and check the pre-bis list on wowhead and start farming?
At this point, 0.5 gear is prob a major waste of time, so I would suggest catchup raids like ZG and small AQ, but if youre tanking I’m not too sure what the best route is.
Yea I’m thinking I just gotta slog through as DPS till I get enough gear.
Go into a MC run, look for guild runs looking for extra people as you can usually get alot of unneeded gear. My Warlock a few weeks back got 6 pieces of tier.
Get R11, which should be the rank that grants access to all the Rare lvl 60 PVP gear (no weapons sadly; made a suggestion on this!). - This is something like 4 weeks if you go from ‘no rank’.
Now start tanking dungeons to get your pre-raid BiS…for DPS. - DPS are a dime a dozen, tanks are mint!
Dual Spec for DPS rogue and now hit up raids.
Use those raids to get DPS gear.
Now start raiding for OS tank gear.
No one will let you raid-tank as a ‘fresh 60’.
