Just hit 120 with my lock earlier today and am planinning on gearing him up and making him my main possibly. Was just wondering what is the best spec to raid with.
It looks like Demo got hit hard by the nerf bat, is it still above the other 2?
What is the disparity between the 3 in terms of damage output? Is it like 100% - 95% - 90%?
What spec would you recommend for mythic +

You’ll be raiding as Aff or Destro.
You’ll be doing M+ at 10 and up as Demo, and below probably as Destro (though it won’t make a huge difference).
There are fairly compelling reasons to play either Aff or Destro on most fights, so there won’t really be a wrong decision. In general I’d favor Aff if you’re in doubt. It’s friendlier for learning fights and deals with movement better, which can be an issue when you’re learning fights.
I’ve been rolling with demo all expansion even with the recent nerf I’ve been keeping up in the raid doing about 17-20k dps depending on the fight
Affliction for Raiding
Demonology for Mythic Pluses.
You can get away with one set, but I’d try to keep haste and mastery as close as possible and make sure you build two azerite set.
raid spec doesnt matter(assuming you know how to play it) unless you are doing Mythic progression
If you arent mythic raiding or doing keys over +10, spec doesnt matter. Play whichever one you enjoy the most.
If you are planning on doing harder content, destro/aff is best for raid, depending on the boss. Demo is the best for keys.
pretty much the above, if you don’t plan on pushing mythic or anything then outside of affy in keys you’re pretty okay. i still play demo on certain fights but that’s pushing a rank for M and its insanely niche. and cuz i loathe affy lol
