I’m not afraid to ask a dumb question. I see a lot of survival hunters do some hip move where they harpoon to a mob and immediately freezing trap. Is that an at cursor macro or at player macro they use to pull off that slick dance?
/cast (@charactername) freezing trap
When you put your name as the target it will drop a freezing trap at your feet. So you harpoon in (which immobilizes the target for 3 seconds) then drop your freezing trap at your feet.
I typical just aim it fast enough before i get there. You need to quick to beat shaman grounding totems and priest (new shadow word death?).
@cursor is faster than @player. Harpoon will root them long enough for the travel and trigger to occur.
This is something that takes some practice. You do exactly need an @cursor macro, but you will notice you can queue up moves while you’re in the air traveling. You will see some pros like Jellybeans selecting the area to drop the trap while traveling. I use an @cursor macro and sometimes make the mistake of overshooting my cursor and missing the trap.
