Since the new patch hit I have been experience a whole bunch of freezing problems in my game.
After using a hearthstone, using a portal, entering a dungeon, bg or anything that triggers a loading screen my game completely freezes for 5-10 seconds. Rarely it even crashes my game if I start clicking too soon.
I’ve already checked my hardware and monitored if there’s any weird spikes or high % usages but nothing weird.
I’ve already tested the following
Complete fresh install without addons (curseforge also removed so no auto updates)
Removing all addons
removing interface, wtf and cache folder
updated all my addons
The only level 70 character that doesn’t have that problem is my druid and evoker, in addition to the new characters. I don’t know if it’s because he doesn’t have a rating in PVE or because of the achievements.
Same thing is happening to me and my girlfriend. Asked on my guild and a lot of people are having this issue since prepatch. If it helps, her game freezes for 5 to 10 seconds, mine rounds 20 seconds on a better system. I guess it has to do with the account-wide things, my account is around 12 years old and her’s around 5 months old.
same thing here, but my freezes are for good 40sec to almost 2min. happens on every loading screen.
my hardware is pretty decent (threadripper 5975wx, 128gb ram, 4090, pcie ssd storage array) so I dont thank thats the issue.
