Freezing on realm change and profession screen.

I tried posting this early but it doesn't show.
Any time I change realms or open a profession page in game it freezes.
I do not run addons.
Besides doing another full ui reset any ideas? Maybe I missed something so i will try again.

Same happening here. Apparently they are aware of it as a client side issue. We have been informing them on Twitter too and nothing gets done.

Hi Galessa,

Did you actually try the UI reset? Opening a profession window is a UI action; actual API requests are made. You shouldn't need to delete the WTF directory, as that's not where this information is stored. Did you at least close WoW, delete the Cache directory, and then log back in?

Yes, I did. What happened was it worked the first time then it went right back to screwed up again. Its so annoying.

BFA Keeps freezing up on me.

Only BFA. No other games, etc is freezing me up.

EDIT: Heat issue. Solved it. All good.

People have been posting about this problem for some time, the only temporary fix I’ve been able to find is to delete cache each time before you log in.

It seems to work until your first realm switch, then everything slows down again at character select and when opening profession pages.

Yes this very issue has been going on for about 3 weeks.

A blue posted in our thread once and asked for detailed info from us, but since then they never said a word unfortunately.

Howdy! I'm not seeing any known issues looking into this. In the Dxdiag's provided so far this maybe related to having the game installed on a large HDD. I would recommend to try the following steps: 1) A complete User Interface Reset. Make sure not to reinstall any addons for right away till the rest of the steps are completed. Yeah, a bunch of us reported this problem before Blizzcon. The solutions they presented didn’t work for us.

It be nice to even see an update on this, I know its not a major game breaking bug but its annoying. realm selection can be more then just a few seconds i think if it gets real mad at me 30 seconds to a minute. profession lock up is like 3-5 seconds EVERY time I open one even if i just closed it. It maybe worked the first time I logged in after doing full UI reset but second time opening professions it locked up again.

Don’t open your profession screen while anything important is happening, who knows what will happen while your locked up. If i am doing anything while opening like say on flight path its longer.

I haven’t really noticed realm selection lag but the profession tab causing the game to freeze up has been going on several weeks. Try to report it and the post seem to disappear. Is there a list of known bug reports that we can look at so we know that its being looked into?
