Freesync not working in DX12

Hello,

I’m not entirely sure how to confirm whether Freesync is actively working or not in a game, but I have been able to confirm a few things:

-in DX12 mode, I get vertical tearing with Freesync enabled (with or without locking FPS in game)
-changing to DX11 or DX11 Legacy mode instantly removes as vertical tearing

Has anyone experienced anything like this, or should I look into submitting my specs and dx log report to investigate further?
