Free transfer gone wrong. Can't undo?

Hi Guys,

I was looking to use the free server transfer to leave Area-52 to get around the queue times. Upon looking at the transfer option, I clicked “Continue” expecting a second page to review and “confirm”, etc. This option just starts the process and my character was moved to a server I did not want.

Upon making a ticket to undo this and move back so I could discuss with my friends what server we should go to, I was told they were unable to undo this as I had “too much gold” (over 1m). After having to contest this, they provided a “workaround” where they would remove some of my gold, and add it back once I was back on Area-52 where I could then use the free transfer to the server I actually wanted.

I was then told they were still running into an error where I had too many unused pets in my bank to simply move back to where I came from… so… I mailed those pets away to an alt.

I was THEN told, and I quote:

“We are sorry to inform you that an error still happened when we tried to move your character back to the original realm. In that case I am afraid we cannot assist with granting this exception to you. (´• ω •`)”

What is going on here? Why is this such an issue?

Even with us trying to assist - we cannot circumvent the transfer rules.

Too much gold, yup, that would do it.

ANY caged pets will as well.

Active auctions or mail - those will do it as well.

You’ll want to reopen your ticket and see if they can tell exactly what is blocking.

I did ask them to clarify which is pending feedback as they didn’t seem to want to tell me and attempted to mark it as resolved which is frustrating, but what I don’t understand is how I can leave the server with X amount of gold/pets/etc. and not be able to go back in the same state as I just left a few days ago?

I already hopped servers with all of my items… If I were to purchase a server transfer would they tell me “No you have too many X items?” This doesn’t make sense to me.
