Free the D&D - Not a fan of the Coffer Key nerf

Totally didn’t see this coming, but ugh. I didn’t mind running the treadmill to grab some coffer keys from weeklies; mildly tedious, but could quick grab my 4 restored keys in short time, between the available “go do’s”.

Then you just changed it? Now each of those things gives me 50% of a restored coffer key…like ugh you guys. I don’t have infinity time to play your game, and the content I do enjoy (Delves and Dungeons)…oh D&D…sorry got distracted…back to what I was remorsing on:
I want to run Delves to build some early momentum both in gear and crests, and then climb the Mythic Dungeon latter a rung at a time and finish the season with all timed over 10, and maybe some 11 or 12. I’m a simple man, I know.

But here we are second week in and I am several Coffer keys short of being able to just launch into some 11 Delves, and after I get my 3 eleven’zees done for the gilded crests, hop into some mythic dungeons.

Anyway, you buried the part of the game I would like to spend time in, behind a part of the game that used to be a minor annoyance on my way to the part I’d like to be in. And I don’t know why. I may never know why. I can tell you this, rather than making me “play more” it makes me play less. I login, I see that the thing I’d like to do is stuck 30 minutes behind the “must do” grind and I logout, switch to Dungeon Defenders, or fixing the leak in my garage floor, or whatever else I have going on.

My plea is for you to free the D&D! If I want to Delve and Dungeon, don’t put a wall in front of it of weekly chores, or if you insist, then make them as they were, a quick half hour run around the map to some world quests and then back to the D&D.

P.S. How is Brann worse in season 3? How? Every collective complaint we’ve made about him standing in the way of mouse clicks, pulling mobs, not effectively healing is worse!

Blizzard takes snatching defeat from the jaws of victory to a whole new level.

They cannot help themselves from taking one step forward, three steps back.

Add in poor quality releases and a general lack of communication, and we can’t even tell what is by design and what is just a bug.

Haven’t done my weeklies yet, but I hope I can still manage to get a decent amount of keys. Delves are kinda my main content at this point.

T11s do feel pretty weird this season. Brann hasn’t been noticeably more frustrating for me, but everything is a health sponge. Love the new curios, at least.

We don’t get whole keys anymore?

Yea, there are some good ones this go around.

Im not sure when this change happened, got my caches and got whole keys out of them yesterday.

Yeah giving less keys makes no sense. Mindless/easy chores are the bane of this game (to me).

I used to do Delves on alts and now it’s too tedious. I didn’t really appreciate how delicate that balance was.

There are enough keys to run 8 bountiful delves a week, AT LEAST.

Use the memory things, those give shards.

Do the WQs.

Do the Awakining the Machine, Troupe, and Keyflame for the easy 3 whole keys.

By the time S2 ended, I had over 30 keys. They needed to be nerfed.

Lol you could get 2 keys a week and still wind up with a stockpile at the end of season. That how its works. I also had a stockpile of crests of all kinds at the end of the season. Nerf those too based on your logic.

And just as an FYI the number of keys has not been nerfed, the way they are obtained has been changed though.

Those do not award whole keys, they award 50 shards

They don’t give whole keys anymore, that’s what they changed. Which is the heart of my trivial pain, cause now it’s a double time sink from what it was, doing content I just am not excited about, twice as much to get the keys needed to do content I am excited about.

That is objectively the worst content they ever released. I tried it one time in season 1, and will NEVER waste my valuable time on that ever again.

Health sponge mobs are not fun.

Oh yea sorry, I mixed em up.

Its the Eco Succesion, the Weekly in Dornogol, and the Special Assignment that gives full keys.

These aren’t bad if you can get into a raid group and pound em out, for a couple quick keys; which maybe is what they were hoping to incentivize, since last season there was very few running them.

I’ve been able to get 5-7 a week. Can’t even buy them yet. Radiant Echos are a time waster though so might not do that in the future.

However, I am not really worried about it much. I ended Season 2 with 30 keys on this character.

You get 3 full keys from Karesh and the pinnacle cache, and 200 key shards across any 4 old weeklies for a total of 5 weekly keys.

So no nerf, it was a buff.

I did a special assignment and it was also just half a key. I haven’t found anything yet that gives a whole key. The treasures that come from the weekly/specials used to give a key, but now gives 50 fragments, I can’t speak for content I haven’t run, but I think this is across the board, all content that used to award keys, has been cut to 50 fragments.

I know for a fact I did three things yesterday that gave me full keys. Eco succesion was one. The weekly was another.

WHY IN THE … DO I STILL NEED TO DO THE STUPID THEATRE JUNK!?
