Okay this is messed up.
There is a huge crowd of people following this entertainer around mass clicking on the shirts as they drop. The shirts appear to only last a few seconds and even though they seem to have a large loot radius, I spent 10 minutes or so trying to loot one and was never successful.
Frustrating and totally not fun. The shirts should last much longer (maybe 10-15 seconds) so that folks can actually get a real chance at them in the crowd.
For my part I’m just going to run around and buy the ones from the stationary vendors and not bother with the entertainer.

The entertainer ones are ones you can buy from vendors normally anyway. The today only vendors each have a unique one, so be sure to hit those up.
That said they should up the TSPS (T-Shirts Per Second) anyway. That and shoot them further and more random.

Don’t mind the shirt throwers. They throw stuff you can get elsewhere anyway.
Look for the vendors scattered around the world. They are the ones that really matter.

I was gonna say this as well - the ones around the world are more important than anything else.

The only thing that was frustrating me was the guy on his turtle mount blocking people from looting… he would hit the space bar and well, you know what the turtles do. (scowl)

I especially like this one, which replicates the appearance of two different cloth tops (in a different color) as a shirt. Meaning my rogue and hunter will be able to go out in a proper halter…
What? I like halters.

Are the shirts permanent?
The vendor one say that they add to your mog collection, so…
Yes. The only thing that isn’t permanent is the item that hides your clothes and gives you a title.
You lose the item and the title after 5 days.
But all the shirts stay.

Cool, ty for the quick replies.
I usually skip the micro holidays but I’ll have to check this one out.

they’re free. Atleast try to pretend you put some effort. Got all the t-shirts.
They are also not soulbound, can get them from auction for like 3 gold
They are soulbound. Says they’re BoP.
Shirts from guy that shoot them with gun are not soulbound. Look at auction house, there’s a lot of them. Only soulbound are from special 7 npc’s across the world

Oh, I thought you meant the ones from around the world. They’re the only ones that matter anyway considering the ones from the dude firing them out of the gun can be bought from anywhere else.

Who needs shirts? I don’t want to cover up my sexy tattoos!

Oh man, I forgot all about this, of COURSE my video card would crap out the day before this event. I guess I’ll be hitting up the AH for any that might be on there, assuming the prices aren’t stupid high.
Obviously it’s too late to make any changes for today but here’s a couple suggestions for next time to make the entertainer part more fun (gasp yes i went there.)
1- make the shirts on the ground sparkle a bit more and last about twice as long as they do now. (maybe like a full 10 seconds.)
…it’s sometimes difficult to notice them right away amidst the crowd and they often disappear before they can be successfully looted. which leads to…
2- make them clickable THROUGH players like the winter veil gifts are now, to prevent griefing by people on big mounts and just general difficulty through the mass of people.
That said, good luck to all you shirt hunters out there.

Nice idea, failed execution… unless… Blizzard is just attempting to frustrate the players again… there should have been a zone around the tshirt dood that forces ppl to dismount, at least… people in this game are forever annoying and get a charge from griefing… also, the shirt could have lasted a few seconds longer… oh well… back to RL…
