Has there been any official confirmation if starter accounts with free play for the first 20 levels being available in Classic, similar to retail?
I know the question was asked quite a while ago but don’t recall any official response.

As far as I know no. the only word we have is that classic wow requires a subscription to play.
But I don’t have a credit card and we can’t get the cards here!!
So get a credit card. Glad I could help.
does best buy still sell cards??? I know they used to a long time ago but I haven’t bought on in a while so
You can play classic with game time cards. You don’t need a credit card, just game time. And I believe you can get the game time cards delivered if ordered online.
Haven’t beent to best buy in a long time but walmart sells game time cards.
As far as the starter accounts go I wouldn’t expect that to be available for classic for quite some time, maybe 6 months or longer. Classic will be a hot commodity for a while I don’t see why they need to push it for free, even partially.
If they go down the path of vanilla like, then starter accounts worked a bit differently for vanilla. It was a 10 day trial (capped at level 20) with restrictions.
Though if they bring starter accounts into Classic it most likely won’t be until after the initial launch month(s)
Amazon sells time cards.
I doubt there will even be a starter account for Classic. The current one they offer is good enough to give a potential subscriber a good idea what WoW is.
With the lack of promotion for Classic, it seems like Blizzard is treating Classic like it is a perk for having a subscription and not an actual product itself.
Yep, it was a x day, or x hours, whichever expired first. I thought it was 7 day when I tried one long long ago in TBC.
Get a checking account and a debit card
There is absolutely zero need for such a thing and the negatives far outweigh any manufactured benefits.
Which probably means it is exactly what actibliz will do
Yes they will, but you get automatically assigned to Herod unfortunately.
this has been addressed.
asked and answered.
get a clue.
A branded debit card will also work. There are probably other ways as well.
At this time. There’s no trial account access to Classic. After the realms have settled down, I could see Blizz allowing trial accounts to play
Level 20 is a good chunk of the game in Classic, I doubt they would ever make that free…
Should only be able to with a Sub, got to keep the cash rolling.
OFC they are tying classic to a retail sub. Its the whole reason they made classic was to bring the non subbers back from FREE private servers.
We need that Cash for Classic BC servers
