I think that, now that we can use the barber to swap gender and completely recustomize our appearance freely, they should do away with the paid name changes. Make it a free service with a one month cooldown so it cant really be abused.
While we are at it also free up more names of inactive characters and accounts.
I would’ve argued this at one point, but honestly Blizzard gutted their own character customization (shop) services so much on their own that there’s not much reason to keep the last piece of it at this point. So sure, Name Change @ the Barber Shop once a month, paid if you want to do it more often than that.
If it auto-updates ignore, sounds good to me. Also account-wide ignore (your whole account ignores their whole account) and unlimited ignore slots.
Yeah that would be nice, or at least let us choose another name to toggle between if we want to use the other gender model.
FFXIV has a free vial thingy that gives one free makeover (like race change level makeover) for finishing the 1st expansion. Maybe a reward like that for finishing a WoW expansion?

Once you hit 60 you’ll get one free Race/Customization change for your character including a free name change if you so wish. It’s a potion / vial that’s bound to that character and you can store it in your bank. It’s consumed upon use. You only get one singular vial of these.
This is in case if you don’t end up liking the character’s race you made anymore, you can race change into something else and be much more happier with your choice!
Yeah it’s pretty inexcusable to have these paid services. I don’t think any of them should cost money, at all.
agreed. all the services should be free for all subscribers at this point and just have cooldowns to prevent abuse. its toxic of blizzard to keep charging so much for services that in reality cost them nothing at all. they are violating the social contract by not letting us identify how we want to in game, its disgusting on their part.

I would agree to this here, if they updated the systems to do so.
