“For the next day”… seems pretty tight, so hop on as soon as you see this if you’re eligible and hopefully you get it (or already qualified when you found out about this like I did, it just gave me a code as I’d already played 50 min and GeForce seemed to know, so it just sent me a redemption code).

From skimming walkthroughs of all the steps one would have to take to obtain the mount, I haven’t been able to decipher what it is they are even trying to promote.
Looks to me like they’re just trying to get more people to sign up for their app.

Yeah kinda. It’s meant to be a monstrous bat though, so it’s not trying to win any beauty contests. The real problem with bat mounts is that they’re another flying mount that has no ground animation. That’s always a bummer.

In the interest of adding to the conversation, though, I always enjoy seeing these mount give away events.
The thread is about getting a free mount that used to be in the shop based on your video card. As part of the conversation, I mentioned that I would’ve loved to have gotten a free mount because I have a video card that qualifies except I already own it. Do you have some problem with me participating in conversations?
Nvidia stays winning
Turns out, I found out about it and checked and apparently I completed their challenge thing before opening up the app, so it seems if you had the GeForce Experience running in the background (as it usually launches with Windows for updates and stuff) then you don’t have to do much extra.

You can still get the mount and give it away to a friend if you want. It gave me a code that didn’t seem to require my specific account.

I’ve been trying to get this to work since Jan. 4 th. I’m in a qualifying Country, have a qualifying graphics card, have the Nvidia app open while signed in, played for well over multiple 50+ minute sessions of WoW and still nothing. I’ve submitted a ticket to Nvidia but who knows if they’ll assist once the event is over… too bad, was looking forward to this one…
