Can blizzard please offer 1 week of free character and guild transfers from horde to alliance and realm transfer.
Or atleast offer to purchase transfers for all your toons for price of one.
This will balance out faction imbalance. And if you make it transfer all toons for price of one blizzard would actually make a lot of money during the process as well from people who otherwise would not have transferred.
It’s a win win.
There’s no reason for horde to transfer.
The better player pool is already on their side. Racials are close. Soon their pvp queue issue will change.
Where’s the reason to swap? They can already make alts if they want to see our story
Easier hall of fame title for guilds and free transfers for many guilds will be hard to pass up.
Even Limit’s GM said they would consider going alliance if it didn’t cost them around 9000 dollars to transfer all their guilds and toons.
You would need there to be some other incentive for Horde to faction change for this to work at all. I doubt many are sitting around muttering to themselves ‘if only it didn’t cost so much to swap’…
Why on earth would I want to be around Alliance? All you guys do is cry to Blizz. Yeah sounds like a real blast to socialize with.
Why is there a need to? Overall the horde/alliance ratio is nearly an exact even split. If we are talking on a server to server basis it goes both ways, there are servers that are both horde and alliance dominated.
Though I’d personally never transfer to alliance. I don’t even get on my alliance toons anymore. Ever since Sylvannas burned the tree down alliance have been on a morally righteous rampage and turn everything into a complaint about horde favoritism. It gives the faction as a whole a terrible appearance.
Yeah, I don’t think that would do much. Though adding a mercenary function like they did got BGs would be reasonable. I’d run around as an ally for a hour to dunk on some people in world PvP.
What like the Greyhound bus runaway scheme I saw as a kid… no, if you left you paid to, if you want back you pay. Just like everyone else.
I wish anduin would use his special sunder plot armor and we would raze org and silver moon to the ground. Might let y’all keep thunder bluff though if your nice.
Blizzard offer free services?

I played Horde for over a decade and I switched to Alliance. One of the biggest reasons were Alliance racials.
Alliance have the better PvP racials in general and Horde have the better PvE racials in general.
I have my PvP toons on Alliance and my PvE on Horde. Offering a free faction transfer won’t even out the very low imbalance at all.
I have a traitor toon on Alliance. One thing I’ve noticed is a lot more RP. With the end game not to my liking, this is at least a positive aspect of being blue.
Why do people think free transfers is going to solve the problem?
There is little incentive to play Alliance this expac.
The story is bland for Alliance. The only interesting thing of note is the travesty of what is happening to the Night Elves and it’s still poorly written/executed.
Allied races for Alliance are bland. Horde got Allied Races steeped in lore and actual desires of the players. Alliance got the devs ideas for what we’d like to play and some compromises to what players actually wanted.
Racial imbalance has been brought up to death but it’s a thing.
Even the WOWhead article where they spoke of the interview with Ion (can’t even type the name without feeling queasy) and they said the 30% buff probably won’t fix faction imbalance and they asked “What could fix it?”
Make the Alliance desirable to play. Give them as solid a story line as Horde has right now. Give them better racials. Give them Allied races that make players want to play Alliance. Stop treating Alliance like a backstory in the game and start treating them as equal to the Horde.
And lastly, and i KNOW this is a CRAZY thought: maybe hire a couple of devs that actually want to PLAY Alliance.
There are many reasons Alliance might not be as attractive to play for some but don’t say story, please. Drustvar and Order of Embers was of my favorite stories this expansion… and the tidesages in Stormsong valley (another zone I like a lot) were pretty great as well. It’s just always seemed easier to get a group on the Horde side… or win a battleground.

So how low the imbalance is in PVE top 100 first kill to mythic G’huul when you have 100 Hordes guilds compare to 8 for the Alliance?
PVP and wpvp wise. How low is the imbalance when first Blizz release Mercenary mode to solve the Horde BGs long que, give a 30% buf for WM and finally will bring AI bots for the Horde long que again?

Because I’m there and I’m awesome. We can talk of our love Varric Tethras and swoon over his chest hair together.
