Yeah, personally I wouldn’t take the free transfer either even being able to select the low/medium pop realm of choice. But every player has different priorities.
most people are probably going to have things they need to sort out prior to transfer… mail, auctions, caged pets etc.

I wont do my main, however I do have a few classes lined up to be leveled next, where I may float one of them over to another server and see how it goes during the leveling process there. least have an option to still play, since all my characters are on A52 atm.

Mal’Ganis or Thrall is idea for horde heavy FYI
You can make a lvl 1 on an alt account FYI while your in Q to checkout both FYI
People, don’t fall for this- they did this very thing in Classic earlier this year.
And they mean it- people were left with half their characters on one realm and the rest on another. Guilds were cut in half because it was cancelled mid transfer. This is their way of splitting people and leaving you stuck with half a dozen alts left to transfer or a broken guild- so the rest have to pay to transfer.
Also- keep in mind that they deliberately try to funnel you to dead servers. So if you’re going to move, be ready to be on a server where nothing happens.
Just be wary- I don’t want to see the forums flooded with pissed off players who got shafted by this yet again, but I have no doubt we will.

the queue tends to die down around 10pst. i plan on loggin in after and starting the process.
Any suggestions for an LA data center Horde server?
Any server that is medium or lower at launch is dead within a month or two, we know this from years of launches. They don’t want you going to any of the servers that will still be decent once the hype dies.
People just need to realize that, or they’ll be paying to move again in a few months.
