how does this work, do i get a free transfer for each of my characters? does it only transfer one and i lose the rest? does it do them all at once? ive never used it before as im generally very loyal to my faction and my server.
any real answers appreciated.
You get unlimited free xfers.
Move all your characters separately. They each have their own transaction.
If you wanna change names… make a character on the destination server with the name you want changed so when you arrive it prompts a name change. If you like your name now pray it’s still available when you arrive.
What Death said. Also, you should be able to initiate the server transfer on your character selection screen. Click the Shop button and then you should see a Free Character Transfer button. Click that, and you should then be able to select the character you want to transfer and then you can select an eligible realm to transfer to. Then repeat the process for each character.
ty for the help, one last question… does the guild and the guild bank go with the founding character or do i have to restart the guild on the new server?

found the free character transfer in my store, then saw on forums that maladath was officially marked for death. so been trying to figure out how to move all my characters and my guild over to a new home lol

There’s supposedly a limit on how much gold you can transfer depending on your level. I don’t know if it’s the same with free transfers, but I levelled from 49 to 51 first just to be safe.
No. You have to recreate the guild.
… and yes this wasn’t announced anywhere, the players know because of a free transfer button, word of mouth, and that support article that was updated two days later on a Saturday because support kept getting questions and they can update that website. The devs would rather write multipage articles about fun to them but useless pet project changes that they can “put their stamp on” while ignoring the houses falling down in the background.
i should be solid on gold, its the 6 months of materials in my guild bank and the tons of gold we spent opening tabs that bum me out a bit. but thanks for all the help.
You can put the guild items (mats) on alts and transfer the alts for free with the rest. You do lose the tabs though.
