This could just be a case of wait and see. I’m sure players are hoping “someone else” makes the move to alleviate queue times. But if everyone is waiting for someone else to move off, the problem will persist.
Unlike launch day when everything happened at breakneck speed, all these changes and moves and offers need a few days to properly gauge their impact.
hoping that Earthfury and Heartseeker will be merged if there is not enough interest.

They;d be smart to just have all 4 servers go to earth fury if its not filling up

I wonder if that’s why they staged the transfers. I’d hate to see them both low pop and have to be merged later.

Exactly. Everyone is waiting till the last minute to see if their full server queues go down to a tolerable level. Then everyone will jump ship if not.
Or, the supply should have been able to meet demand. They put a closed beta behind a paywall, made an alliance with streamers (to line both pockets), put stress test behind a paywall AND made sure to set up name reservations 2 weeks before launch, to get a month worth of subs for that.
Had they handled beta and the stress test differently, they would have had a clue…
On, the other hand…they were busting at the seems just for the people the subbed 2 weeks early for name reservations (on the pathetic few servers they offered). Have they not double the servers, since then?
It most certainly does land in actiblizz’s lap…for this mess.

How long are transfers going to be open? I plan to transfer from Grobbulus to Deviate Delight with my friends, however two of them are away for work until the weekend.
I would move if I could choose where i move to. found some friends on a different server I would be happy to move to but only having one choice, I think I will stay

I’m sure Blizzard is taking all of this into consideration. They have the added benefit of seeing the actual transfer numbers to help decide if they want to funnel all the transfers into one realm.
If they want transfers they need to remove a few layers NOW so people will know how dire the situation really is. Most people think its fine because the queue is going down. One more thing. I dont even think most people know theres free transfers. The character select screen looks almost exactly the same.

If they’re waiting in a queue (on a free transfer realm), there’s noticeably a new button to migrate your toons.
