Just small groups of people doing their thing. Like when I grouped up with three people to clear that yeti cave near Southshore, and there was a group of 3 or 4 Horde, and we spent about half an hour battling for that cave. Lots of fun lol
Everybody dismisses that server because of streamers but I haven’t found a better one yet 
Blizzard, honestly… f***k your transfers. It’s been successful at turning 80% of target servers into PvE servers and that’s it… I can’t believe you guys didn’t put in some restrictions to alleviate one sided servers like in vanilla wow, but this activision -blizzard so it comes as no surprise. I already cancelled my recurring subscription so thanks.
People were calling for transfers, now that Blizzard initiated transfers people don’t like transfers anymore.

Getting past the streamers is impossible on Alliance side. You go to Stormwind and everyone is in the same guild with its ten or whatever parts, that alone just ruined the server to me along with all the trolls that followed the streamers to Fae. Really loved it there the first few days after launch but it got annoying fast and sadly I had to find a new realm.
Can we get an update of when these transfers are set to close? I know a lot of people that want to transfer on both horde and alliance but don’t want to risk missing the window and having people stuck on the server since we don’t know the end date.
Seconded for needing an update as to whats going on with these. Wanting to move our guild but dont want to lose people because of a cutoff with no warning.
Is it possible to initiate a transfer when you do not currently have a queue? I can’t find any information on this.
Yes Argil, it is. On the character select screen, click on “shop” in the corner and you should see a free character transfer option there. Select your character and your desired destination realm and it should all happen for you.
I just tried and I don’t see the option to transfer. Where in the shop do I look?
Dear Blizzard… This is maybe time to make faction specific transfert, I dont know if you are clueless or something but alot of pvp server are screw right now, too much horde for the majority and Heartseeker having too much Alliance.
This is mind boggling, that both faction can still transfert on any server lol
Do you have phone ? (do you have server specific stats ? )
This should go without saying, but you have an entire phase dedicated to world pvp on the immediate horizon.
I am all for shorter or no queues, but creating and exacerbating faction imbalance issues was and continues to be a rather poor implementation of the free server transfer service.

Hello! Wanted to reach out because there is an issue with how these free transfers were carried out.
The destination servers were closed with very little notice and this causes significant issues for many players. In my case, I had a disparity between when I transferred my alts and my main due to social ties. Once I resolved those ties, I set out to transfer my main to the same realm as my alts and found out the destination server was removed as an option with no ingame notification, and from what I can tell, very little forums notification. This obviously leads to a frustrating experience because it seems arbitrary and leaves your customers with a scenario they can’t plan for. I submitted a ticket and was told that this is a matter than can only be resolved by the devs since they were the ones who specifically implemented the free transfers. That since transfers were not a thing in classic, that the only possibility is if the devs saw fit to reenable free transfers to certain destination servers again. This adds to the arbitrary factor because seeing as how I already have characters on my destination server, moving my final one doesn’t even affect the population one bit.
I don’t know what the intentions are, but assuming that I interpretted the GM correctly and that paid transfers are not coming, I would say that it may be a good thing to reenable the full list of destination servers for free transfers a very small period, say no longer than 48 hours, and ensure they end with properly disseminated notice. This way, at least players can be given a fair opportunity to properly plan for a server move. If not that, then there needs to be an established SOP for WoW GMs/support to perform a character move from the backend on a case-by-case scenario for extenuating circumstances.
Now I have to face the possibility of rerolling a character that has a few hundred gold, close to 60, has a mount, and maxed professions. My alts had a ton of mats I gathered on my rogue and their professions were carried to ~200 or so, making this a very messed up case of sunk cost.
Out of the several years I’ve, played, this is the only time I had to make a forum post (save for the time I wona 1v3 in Un’goro). Thanks for making it through this wall of text. Appreciate all the hard work you guys do.
Honestly, I would take a transfer if I could go from PvP to PvE. If not, I have no reason to move to another server.
They probably don’t want PvPers to accidentally transfer to a PvE realm.
So you closed transfers to heartseeker because it was getting too full so my priest got stuck on skeram (had cod mail out) with all my other toons making it to heartseeker.
Only for you to re-open transfers to heartseeker. Thanks for the kick in the dick. I’m just going to unsub this whole release has been a sh*tshow.
Some Backstory of why this really pisses me off to the point of unsub:
I was on Fearlina had to remake toon on herod before realm transfers opened. Had to remake those herod toons on another realm because once again realms too full go to another realm with no transfers. Finally made my char again for the last time on skeram. Because once again no transfers at that point because blizard wasnt giving them. Finally they gave transfers to skeram from heartseeker. Took it got a char stuck. I opened a ticket about it and explained all the hoops I’ve already jumped through for them to say too bad so sad we will add paid transfers eventually so pay us then.
keep in mind you did not HAVE to transfer off any of those realms. Many people never did and the queue”s got immensely better. Hope you find a game you enjoy
My server is Grobbulus. Why are you not offering a (RP)PVP to PVE option? If you are trying to reduce the burden on a highly populated servers, offering both types of realms would greatly improve your chances. Many of the folks in my guild are regretting the PVP world which we were talked into when we joined together. Give me a PVE option and I will transfer.
Ya that’s because they artificially lower the cap and then lie to people like literally everyone on my server that things will get better. Guess what, no more transfers to my dead server and it’s not getting better. The people in charge of this are mentally deficient.
