said like someone who hasnt seen them do this before, this is only the beginning, if you dont get out now they will boot you to a random server once they deem it dead enough, just like with deviate delight in classic
Oh well, enjoy it while you can.
I mean I was being sarcastic but yeah this is an intentional killing CB in the worse way possible.
Bruh the server is massively overpopulated. I have a horde toon there and even at the end of phase itās crazy. The lag in STV is so much worse. I wasnāt even anywhere near the action and my instant casts turned into 3 second casts. I hope like hell they at least let us choose any pvp server. I know they donāt allow pvp to pve but at least let us choose a different pvp server. Iād very much prefer most of my chars be on a medium pop server. 1 on CS is more than enough and I mostly just do BGās with him since horde BG experience is a lot better.
Thank you for this! I would rather have a queue during release day than struggle to find a 5th for SM or find a tank for gnomer.
Me and my entire guild thank you!!!
Still can struggle end of phase. Iāve been trying to do the maelstrom rune on my shaman on CS and cannot find an RFK group to save my life.
its cuase if you play on both u realise thats its just as hard if not harder to find a group on CS than it is on CB becuase of all the gatekeeping and competition to find a group
A slow death, is still a death.
By blocking new characters - friends we convince to come back, or people who want to try another class to fill a hole, no longer can.
I understand allowing those who want to transfer - to go, but by blocking new characters, theyāve just condemned those who remain to a slow death. Our only choice is to decide how long we want to drag it out.
Save Chaos Bolt.
Do the right thing Blizz.
Why not just open transfers both ways and unlock char creation on Chaos Bolt?
Many people like playing without layering, lag, and ad spam. People who want a big server can go, and I am sure there are some people sick of the problems that come along with a mega server and they could come to Chaos Bolt.
Hopping in to second, third, fourth what so many are saying already.
What makes Chaos Bolt so great is the people and the community. If I had started playing in CS, my experience would have been significantly different. With this server being smaller (but still lively) I have been able to enjoy my time exploring, questing, farming, and getting to know other players. On a server with a massive increase in population, I doubt I would have enjoyed SoD and stuck around as long as I have.
This decision feels like a slap in the face for the THOUSANDS of people who have made Chaos Bolt their home. Please, read the room. Re-consider.
Exactly, it seems like the solution should be to open CS transfers to CB since itās so full, not outright kill off CB.
Very bad decision, once again, by the Sod team.
The alliance experience must be totally different to the horde one. Horde feels dead any time Iām on. Always have issues filling gnomer for our guild group. Both in recruitment issues and just straight pugsā¦
Heck, couldnāt even fill an SM group on a Friday evening.
This is the same for me, i had to reroll due to this problem.
Itās the same with Alliance, takes upwards to an hour to find a healer or tank for gnomer.
Blizzard? Wake up. Listen to your community. No one wanted this.
At least 4 people did. Thanks again blizz! Cant wait for them to be fixed!
Iāve been looking to transfer all of my Horde characters over to another server. Thank you Blizz, this was an excellent move!
Lol what? A LOT of people wanted this. Me and my whole group of friends recently rerolled on Crusader Strike from Chaos Bolt because itās not fun playing on a completely dead server where finding groups for anything is a pain, thereās no one out in the open world for PvP/random encounters, etc. If you want to play on a dead server all the power to you, but trapping people who want a live and thriving server for the vocal minority who want this tiny ācommunityā is not a good thing and will never happen.
