My FPS still runs between 70-100 fps, however I noticed doing world bosses and transmog runs in old raids (Molten Core, BWL, Firelands, etc) that when I’d cast spells or use abilities, I’d get a horrible drop in FPS or even 1-2 second freezes in my screen. I reset all graphics to recommended, whereas I used to run on 10. Still happens.

I’m having this same issue when going out into boralus. I used to average a stable 80-100. But when I fly over the city and move my camera to look around it will get really jerky and drip to 30 abruptly and go back up. Really annoying.

I had the same and disabled clique then reloadedui and it fixed it instantly
check your addons disable them all and retest etc

I’m having the same issue, currently at running at 0.5 Fps. Without any addons installed and graphics turned all the way down. Before the pre-patch, I was able to multibox ( two toons ), with out any issues.

I’m feeling that bad too. Yesterday things were smooth as silk but now the frames tank no matter what I do.

Ya and it’s really annoying

CHECK ADDONS. I had 2 add-ons screwing everything up. Clique and a map addon. Be sure to disable addons and slowly turn them on/off to troubleshoot. Make sure vsync is off and check the resolution scale. My settings were all the way jacked up. Make sure to check on max foreground and background FPS.

^ this, moveanything and vuhdo are also causing problems as well as clique apparently

I don’t have any addons

Yes, same issue here, with no addons that could be causing it. I’m not even in a city, and it’s making the game literally unplayable.

I have to play without addons due to the insane lag and extreme FPS drops.

And my problems only started after the prepatch

been answering this alot so im just going to copy paste: disable the addons moveanything, vuhdo, and clique as these 3 are the most common “disabling fixes it” addons. if this doesnt work go to system → advanced and the bottom of the list is graphics card. make sure thats not on autodetect and its on what card you have. the only other fix that ive seen is that the patch turned vsync on and changed your directx to directx11 legacy for some reason. turn vysync off and turn dx11 off legacy should fix it.
