Overall i find the frames to be OK and SERVICEABLE. However my biggest complain at the monent is that they dont accept mouse button binds. For example if i bind a spell to B3 (middle mouse button) it does not register. Unless im missing something, this feels terrible.

If i use healbot or any other frame addon then i wont see buffs and debuff info, but i CAN use those binds.

If i use blizzards frames i can see some debuffs and buffs, but CAN’T use my mouse binds
what the heck blizzard, please address this
It’s always been like that. You need to bind them via Blizz’s click casting interface or an addon like Clique.
Does clique display debuffs tho?
Clique is just an addon for binding mouse keys etc. to frames, it’s not a frame addon itself. So you’ll get whatever features come with the frames you choose: default, healbot, elvui, etc.
eh, yeah thats not what im looking for. Idk about the other addons but healbot used to display all that necessary information. Ill look into click casting but it doesnt sound very intuitive.
We should be able to use any mouse over bind onto the frame idk why this is an issue and should require additional steps. I thought they were trying to remove these barriers to gameplay
Since 12.0.1, other addons have access to a filter displaying the identical set of auras as the Blizzard frames.
This is still limited compared to 11.x, but there shouldn’t be any difference between what Blizzard frames and 3rd party addons can show now.
That’s interesting I downloaded the current version of healbot and ensured the debuff check was on and it didn’t display any information at all besides name class and health
I had the 2 side by side while running a dungeon and the blizzard frames showed buffs and debuffs and healbot showed none of that
From looking at the source code, I can see the Feb. 13 version of Healbot attempts to use the RAID_IN_COMBAT filter (available to non-Blizz frames since 12.0.1)
From glancing through user comments on their Discord, it may not be working yet.
In particular people say they can see Healbot display auras out of combat, but they vanish in combat.
I don’t use the addon myself, so you may have to follow-up with your own questions there.
The RAID_IN_COMBAT filter is working in ElvUI, which I do use.
DandersFrames also shows the same auras as Blizzard’s because they yoink the info directly from them….
