This issue has been ongoing for weeks and it’s clearly landing on deaf ears. GMs told me to report the bug here. So here is yet another report.
From what I can tell, this character was spark capped upon logging in on weeks 3 and 4. I didn’t get sparks from pinnacle caches those weeks, and my account was flagged as having received them. Week 5 worked normally, but I am still behind 2 weeks.
We know you think it’s important to keep things “fair” based on what you did in week 2. Please at least acknowledge you’re looking into this.

Sharpangesi if it make you feel better I’m in the same boat as you. I didn’t get any sparks last week I was stuck at 4 fractured sparks. This week I managed to get a fractured spark from the Titan Fragment quest putting me at 5 fractured sparks. I was excited that maybe the curse was broken. Ohh how wrong I was. I started doing everything to try to get catch up sparks, no luck. I think maybe our chars are flagged at the max amount of sparks or the catch up is broken for us. Regardless something is wrong. It feels really bad that we have been fighting this for weeks with no acknowledgement from blizzard. Just horrible customer support. Blizzard please help us for the love of sparks. I’ve put a list below of content that I’ve done this week to help.
6 Mythic+10

The Theater Troupe
Gearing up for Trouble
Rollin’ Down in the Deep
Spreading the Light
Special Assignment: Shadows Below

Same issue on one of my chars. Started last week when the pinnacle chest didn’t give any half spark, and none would drop from any content either. One full spark behind my other characters.
I don’t think anyone from Blizzard actually reads these forums, so these characters are just going to be bricked for this patch. It sucks this early in the season being behind a full spark.
I will add some more context to my situation. During week 2, I noticed “Archives: Seeking History” was not available on my monk. This was before the fiasco where people were getting a half spark early and crafting 2handers before everyone else. I reported the missing quest back in week 2 when this became apparent to me - I may have named the quest incorrectly at the time of reporting as it wasn’t available to me.
I was short on week 2 as well. A GM did restore a spark because of a bug causing one of the spark quests to remove more fractured sparks than intended from inventories. I am not entirely confident I was affected by that issue because I don’t remember getting the fractured spark for that week in the first place.
That said, “Archives: Seeking History” was also not available on weeks 3 and 4. Week 5, it was available, and I was able to get a spark.
someone on the forum made me aware of this command - /dump C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) - to see the current state of the cap. I think if first started tracking this for myself on week 3. During week 3 my ‘quantity’ and ‘maxQuantity’ values were equal despite not having received my weekly spark. Upon logging in week 4, both values incremented by 1, and it was the second thing I checked after opening the vault. I knew I was capped, and “Archives: Seeking History” was not available on my Monk.
Week 5 /dump C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) only the ‘maxQuantity’ value incremented. The ‘quantity’ value did not. This was a good sign. “Archives: Seeking History” was available, and I finally got a fractured spark. So the primary issue seems to be resolved, but I am still behind two weeks because the ‘quantity’ value increased several times without actually getting a spark.
Let me remind you blizzard, you gave people sparks ahead of schedule to make everything fair because players got ahead using an exploit. You’re really leaving us in the dark here. You’re also about to lose a player.

Sharpangesi, I think the same exact thing happened to our characters. I sent this to the GMs for the same reason as you I couldn’t get the 4th fractured spark to create my gun when everyone I was paying with already had 2 full sparks. During that time I submitted this to the GM
I also ran some scrips to check what quests I’ve done.
A Sparkling Fortune
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(86369))
true
A Golden Circumstance
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(90660))
true
/run a=C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) print(“You have earned " … a.totalEarned … " of " … a.maxQuantity … " possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes”)
You have earned 3 of 3 possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes
I was given a spark by the GM because of the same bug. After I was given the spark from the GM I ran the script again and I got this result.
/run a=C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) print(“You have earned " … a.totalEarned … " of " … a.maxQuantity … " possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes”)
You have earned 0 of 3 possible Fractured Spark of Fortunes
I think the spark we got from the GMs messed up our internal spark counter. That’s why we are stuck at 5. If they could give us a spark without affecting the counter I think we would be back on track.
I’d love to have access to logs to figure this out, but I really don’t think we should have to be the ones to lay everything out over and over again.
The dev team needs to acknowledge the issue and give GMs the authority to give us the missing sparks. I am so tired of this.
One of my characters is in the same boat… stuck at 7 hlaf sparks while other s have got the full 8
