Fractured Spark of Starlight 5/6 after 8 m+ dungeons

So still no Fractured Spark of Starlight drop for this week.

I’ve run 8 m+ already. 4 +10’s, 2 +6’s and 2 +3’s.
I’ve done the TW raid and gotten the boxes for both TW weekly quests.
I’ve done the weekly in K’aresh and gotten the weekly box from there.

So how much does blizz want people to play the game exactly before the Fractured Spark of Starlight drops…?

updated: doing the weekly for delves 0/3 finally gave the spark. insane how bad this rng spark drop system is
the blue ! was not showing above branns head

Not sure, but this is an MMORPG and requires time.

Genuine question, how long do you think it takes to do all of what I mentioned?

Your reply seems to imply that you think it should take 4 or 5 days of 8 hours a day grinding or something to get one spark.

None of those things give the current week’s half spark. Those are all catchup sources only.

yeah its in one of the pinnacle caches

Run three tier 1 delves, particularly Sidestreet Sluice. Everyone in my guild has gotten their sparks this way in under 30 minutes.

I mean this is an MMORPG, so if it takes a lot of time then that’s what it takes.
There are single player games out there for a reason.

did the pinnacle cache for tw and weekly in k’aresh as already mentioned. nada.

i will give this a try. ty

It’s specifically the quests that award a ‘Pinnacle Cache’ that also award a fractured spark (and this is guaranteed, assuming you’re not at the limit). This week, it’s Brann’s quest to complete 3 delves. The other two quests are Faerin’s Worldsoul quest (which should be available next week), and Brinthe’s Archives quest (which was the one we got last week).

You’ll only get fractured sparks from other activities if you’re behind on the current max and need to obtain more to catch up to the limit.

This logic is so outdated, and old. try to find another one please. the game has shifted into a different type of pace… we are no longer in Classic era. "You need time "

Please, Saltheril.

It’s not RNG for the current spark, those only come from the weekly quest which was 3 delves. You literally could have blasted 3 tier 1 delves in like 5 minutes and gotten it.

The dungeons, etc only reward you missing sparks.

It also requires doing the thing that’s marked for the reward you want. Not random other stuff and then getting mad that it didn’t give rewards that it never has before.

There have been cases where weeklies bugged out (like if you’re logged in at reset time, NEVER DO THAT), and you have to do the WPVP one since that’s the only source left. But none of the things OP named give the current spark frag. Ever.

It isn’t, but okay.

Except the sparks say they can drop from other activities. so…?

And brann had no blue ! over his head this week. checking it on an alt and no blue ! either for them. u have to manually talk to brann to even find out his weekly is the one that gives the spark.

Not to mention that if i was behind in sparks, say 1/6, I would have to rely on rng random spark drops so idk what you are even trying to say.

I think they do if you’re not currently caught up. I’ve seen players loot fractured sparks from M+ and raids (although possibly not TW raids, haven’t paid enough attention to notice there). But for these things, they only drop up to one away from the max. Players tend to not really think about this nuance though and assume it’s purely an RNG system when that’s not really the case.

If you are current on sparks, which you were, you can only get the new weekly sparks from labeled weekly activities such as the 3 delve Brann quest and Ecological Succession.

If you are not current on sparks, you can receive catchup sparks through other forms of content until you become current.

can you explain how it works then?
if you are 1/6 what activities do you have to do exactly to get them to drop? raids and m+?
do they drop 1 per run? per boss?

you keep alluding to knowledge but seemingly aren’t giving out that knowledge either, or you don’t actually know how the system works and are assuming like everyone else because its an unclear and bad system

Catchup sparks come from everything.

Current spark comes from the rotating Dorn weekly or the WPVP weekly. NOTHING else.

It is not some kind of grand mystery, TWW has been out a full year at this point and the pattern was pretty clear by about week 7. Yes Brann should have a quest marker over his head and it’s a dumb bug that’s not visible, but last week was titan discs so this week is 3 delves. Like always.

When I’ve been behind I’ve gotten them from every single delve. Just leveled an alt two weeks ago and every single tier 11 delve gave one until I was one short then I did the weekly. I can admit I’m not sure if lower tiers give them.

But you’re also changing the point of your own thread because people correctly pointed out your OP was complaining about something you were just doing wrong.

This. ^

And yes, Brann has been bugged for a while. Look at your minimap for the blue exclamation. It shows up that way.
