Fractured Spark of Fortune

Same problem here. Script says 5 out of 4 sparks. Did not have a problem until this week. I have done all the meta content I can do and no luck.

My husband is currently two weeks behind on getting his half sparks. They are simply not being passed out (even after completing all possible sources) on his Paladin.

Heā€™s a full spark behind and is no longer receiving them at all. If they donā€™t fix this he can never craft another piece. Worse still his alts are all caught up with everyone else, it appears that something is seriously bugged for certain characters.

Honestly based on all these descriptions, I think there may be several bugs. I see people who are 5/6, 4/6, had problems with the free spark giveaway last week, ETC. It just seems like sparks in general are bugged out bad for some and Blizz seems to be doing very little to assist past saying ā€œfile bug reportsā€ each week and then as the new week rolls around the sparks still wonā€™t drop.

Do you just give up on crafting? Come on Blizzard, do better.

In the same boat on my evoker. Got bugged out from the spark combine quest two weeks ago and after two weeks finally got a half spark from a GM after 4 tickets. Now I cant seem to get sparks at all from any source and am a full 2 weeks behind. Going to keep bumping these threads until this is resolved

A number of people have been told by GMs they cant help by giving us our missing sparks, are you saying you did get one to help you? If so would be helpful for us to reference this if/when we are told they canā€™t help.

no, they have kept on telling me nothing is bugged, i keep on reporting it forward in hopes to get a person

Only two replies Iā€™ve gotten to my tickets were AI slop saying that Blizz is aware that thereā€™s a problem and then goes on to call the Fractured Spark the wrong name. Then the other said thereā€™s no problem and that it isnā€™t guaranteed each week lmao

Apparently GMs canā€™t help, but at this point I think we just need to make noise so that someone will hear us

Blizzard just told me that THEY HAVE NO ITENTION OF RESOLVING THIS ISSUE.

I am still missing 2 fractured sparks and I verified that I am capped for the week. GG.

I am sorry that we could not get back to you sooner. We currently have a high number of tickets and are working as quickly as possible to get to everyone as soon as we can.

With the issues weā€™ve had with the Fractured Sparks of Fortune, I took extra time to run very thorough searches on Sharpangesi, then I triple checked the results to see if we were missing anything.

From the results, we do see that the quest ā€œA Sparkling Fortuneā€ took two Fractured Sparks when it should have taken only one. That one was sent to you on 2025/03/21 and it was retrieved from the mailbox. This is the only one we could verify was not received due to a known bug and is the only one that we will provide.

As there are no other known issues with receiving Fractured Sparks at this time, we will not grant another and Sharpangesi will have to do weekly activities that award a Pinnacle Cache to get another.

This is the only answer that we will provide, so we must consider the matter fully addressed at this time even if we could not provide the desired outcome. I am closing out the ticket completely at this time.

The problem is likely some oversight from the devs that wasnā€™t included in their instructions to the GMs or something. My character somehow got flagged as having been ahead when I was actually behind. This isnā€™t a bug that needs to be fixed - I can FINALLY receieve sparks again. SOMEBODY needs to figure out WHY people who were behind were flagged to be capped for two weeks THEN instruct the GMs they can restore the sparks. Itā€™s not a bug. WE shouldnā€™t have to figure this out for you guys.

How am I supposed to open a ticket for this? GMs canā€™t do anything, and itā€™s not a bug that needs to be fixed. Itā€™s a process issue.

That is unrealā€¦ Thank you for sharing that with us Sharpangesi. The simple fact it hasnā€™t been FIXED YET means more and more people will fall victim to this bug as the season goes on, neverminded NEXT SEASON which I am sure this bug will still be around.

From what it looks like, itā€™s fixed. The problem is that the dev team improperly flagged some characters as being ahead who were actually behind in their fix. The GMs are only authorized to restore based on what the devs tell them. This scenario was an oversight and they likely since moved on from that issue, but it needs to be re-investigated, and we need some sort of communication on this.

I do not intend on re-installing or resubscribing and am considering dropping my game pass subscription unless there is at least some acknowledgement that itā€™s being looked at. I honestly donā€™t mind if I have to wait another month before itā€™s fully resolved. I am just tired of having to describe the issue over and over again.

I have to stop reading about this problem isnā€™t not good for my blood pressure. I canceled my account because of this.

Youā€™re not alone. I have FF14 installed and cancelled my sub. 100% willing to return once this is addressed.
