Posting here because a GM told me to.
My Evoker is my main, and I have kept up with content on it since week 1. I have earned 3 full Sparks on that character and have crafted 2 pieces of gear with them, a 2H Mace (costing 2 full Sparks) and Bracers (costing 1 Spark), leaving no remaining Sparks or Fractured Sparks in my inventory this week. The following script shows that I have earned 4 of 4 Fractured Sparks of Fortune on it.
/run a=C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) print(“You have earned " … a.quantity … " of " … a.maxQuantity … " possible " … a.name …” .")
My warrior is one of the alts I am playing this season. I have kept up with content on it since week 1. With Thilaedil’s help last reset I have 2 full Sparks and have crafted a 1H Mace (costing 1 full Spark) and a shield (costing 1 full Spark), leaving no Sparks or Fractured Sparks in my inventory this week. The script above shows that I have earned 4 of 4 Fractured Sparks of Fortune on it.
So what I am trying to convey is that my Warrior and Evoker are considered in the same state server side, both having earned 4 Fractured Sparks of Fortune. However they do not have the same amount of Fractured Sparks of Fortune, currently with my Evoker having received 3 Full Sparks of Fortune and my Warrior having received 2 Full Sparks of Fortune, with the help of a GM (Thilaedil).
Not 30 minutes ago I turned in the current Pinnacle Weekly, Worldsoul: Dungeons, on my warrior and did not receive a Fractured Spark of Fortunes, as the server considers me to have already earned ALL the available Fractured Sparks of Fortune. Which is not the case.
I have been in contact with GM’s for 3 weeks now and I am no closer to resolving the issue. Just giving me the Fractured Sparks is a bandaid on the problem as I am still behind, with no catch up mechanic working as the server already considers that I have earned ALL the available Fractured Sparks on my warrior but I have not.
Yep, this has been an issue going on for awhile. I myself got affected this week and have been hoping we see a blue response to this issue as right now it seems it’s getting very little attention.
Please post in the other posts about this issue as we need more eyes on this and a proper response from Blizzard.
Same.
We are currently at two weeks missing for my husband regarding half sparks (he’s a full spark behind). They are just not being passed out for certain characters (his alts are all caught up).
There’s a serious bug at work and Blizz is choosing not to help, it sucks.
I’d even be happy if Activision came out and said get screwed. At least they’d be acknowledging this

I was finally able to get a GM to confirm that the issue of characters being stuck on cap is known and that they’re working on it.
I’m Game Master Aestynurgue and I hope you have a great week.
It sounds like your character got caught up in an issue where the system mistakenly capped your Fractured Sparks for two weeks, which put you behind. I can see how that’s really thrown off your progress, especially when your other characters managed to catch up without a hitch.
I’m really sorry for the trouble this has caused. While I can’t manually restore those missed sparks, I can definitely recommend keeping an eye on future updates, as our dev team is actively working on making sure everything’s functioning correctly. In cases like this, I’d also suggest checking out any upcoming hotfixes that could help address the issue for you.
I totally get how disappointing this is, but please rest assured that this is something we’re aware of, and we want to make sure everyone’s experience is as smooth as possible.
Thanks so much for your patience, and if there’s anything else I can assist with, feel free to reach out!
I take back that last comment. Turns out Game Master Aestynurgue was lying. The dev team is still not aware of this issue somehow.
I just had another GM, Belnysmos, look at my character and claimed that everything was working fine on my character. Who know, maybe Belnysmos is lying. Clearly this person doesn’t know how to count at the very least.
Game Master Belnysmos here!
I really appreciate you sticking with this and reaching out again. I can tell you’ve been keeping a sharp eye on your Sparks, and it’s definitely not fun to feel like you’re missing out on that well-earned progression, especially when you’ve been putting in the time week after week. You’re not wrong to question it, and I respect how thoroughly you’ve been tracking things.
I went ahead and did a full sweep on your account, and I can confirm that everything on the backend looks just as it should under the current system. There was a known issue with missing Fractured Sparks of Fortune some time ago, but the dev team has since rolled out a patch that included a catch-up mechanic. This means the system now gradually grants missing Sparks as you continue engaging in eligible weekly content. It’s automatic and should restore balance over time, without needing to rely on any macros, which can often show out-of-date or inaccurate info since they don’t sync with the actual progress-tracking system.
I totally get that “keep playing and it’ll fix itself” isn’t the most satisfying answer when you’ve already been doing exactly that. If anything still seems way off after a few more weeks of activity, or if you think something’s deeper under the hood, bug reports continue to be the best way to flag things directly for the dev team to investigate further, remember devs post any updates about the bug reports on the forums.
Keep your blades sharp and your bags ready, the Sparks will catch up, even if they’re dragging their feet a bit now. We’re here if anything else pops up. You’ve got this!
GM Belnysmos
Here is another GM that doesn’t know how to count saying there are no reported bugs.
This is Game Master Nialnys. I saw that you were having trouble with your fractured sparks, and I’ll be more than glad to look through this with you
We have received confirmation that there are no present issues with the delivery of Fractured Sparks of Fortunes. You should still be able to get them by completing weekly quests that award Pinnacle Caches until you catch-up to the max amount of sparks for the current week.
If you believe that you’re not able to get the remaining sparks under any means, then it may indicate a more complex problem than what Game Masters are able to assist. Considering we’re not empowered to treat in-game issues like this, as these are under the scope of the WoW dev team, our best option here would be to share this experience by submitting a detailed report. You’ll be able to do so by following the steps on this article here: (link) And while I can’t guarantee that it will get a direct response, please keep in mind that these are still being tracked constantly, as they will need all the data they can gather to investigate and address any in-game issues that are affecting the community as a whole.
If there’s anything else you’d like me to check for you, don’t hesitate to reach out to us again at anytime
Please take care and have a good rest of your day,
GM Nialnys
