FPS / Performance issue making game unplayable

So update here. I’m glad to hear others have resolved their issue but unfortunately I am still having mine.

I have cleaned out my fans and replaced the thermal paste on my laptop. I saw that there was a new driver this morning so I went ahead and downloaded that as well. And still I am getting even worse performance than before. I am getting 30 FPS or less at the very minimum settings. I have no idea what the issue could be.

I had the same problem when i logged in, my foreground fps in options was suddenly set to 0, i put it to my monitor frame rate and it went from 15 fps to 144. hope you have the same issue!

That solved my fps problem but still have glitches when in Valdrakken. Also see the environment flimmering on my screen. Also when I am not in game.

I’m baffled as well. My setup is close to yours. Aorus Z690 Pro, Aorus 3080 12G WB, 32GB Corsair Dominator, i5 12600K at 4900MHz, GPU temp when wow is max settings in Valdrakken: 45-50c. My PC is fully custom water-cooled. How am I able to run modern games made this year at max settings and 100+ FPS, and every single game between now and when WoW first came out, but WoW is the only game that drops to mid-40’s at max settings?

My FPS ranges from 38-48 in Valdrakken at max settings. Each of the advanced toggle options only changes the FPS plus or minus 5 FPS. The Only toggle that makes a significant impact if I lower it, is Liquid Detail. Even in Valdrakken which doesn’t seem to have a lot of liquid everywhere. Dropping that to low gives me ~20 FPS.

This fixed it for me thanks!
