I have a Mac Mini M4 10 CPU, 10 GPU, 24 RAM. My monitor only supports 60FPS. I’m thinking this is fine, plus i can turn up graphics quite a bit, distance etc. And still stay at 60.
Question: do you all see much benefit to higher FPS?
I’m not doing much M+ or cutting edge PVP.
if you play at 100 FPS+, especially in action heavy games, you don’t really want to go back to around 50 FPS. The game and your KB/mouse just feel snappier.
That said, if you are happy with 60 FPS and you mostly play solo than that is all that matters

The way I see it? You cant miss it if you never experienced it.
If you are happy with how things are? Let it be and move on.

You probably have vsync turned on or max foreground fps limited to 60fps. I play sometimes on a Macbook Air M1 and I don’t have a frame limitation.
I use an old tv for a monitor. Has decent looking graphics, but i should probably get a real monitor that can do more than 60 FPS.

It looks smoother if you have a monitor that supports it, but especially in a game like wow, 60 FPS is still completely playable.

It’s one of those things, once you experience 4k120 you question why everything isn’t made for it. But if you haven’t experienced it, bless you because it kind of ruins things and makes games disappointing when they can’t hit 4k120.

OLED makes it even worse. Especially when it comes to the $$ it takes to run it. Sat In front of an OLED screen at a Tech Expo now Im in knees deep in running a 4090 and a 9950x3D
